Just had Sky Q + 2 miniboxes fitted after having used Sky HD for 20+ years. The engineer seemed in a mad rush as it was his last call and once he had "everything working" left hurriedly. There was no handover, no tuition on how to operate the controllers and no technical details at all. When we went to use our new gadgets neither of the 2 miniboxes worked and the main Q hub wouldn't turn off.
Onto Sky by phone and as usual through to people whom you can't understand and the earliest we can get an engineer back out is in 6 days time! Asked to be put through to the cancellation team and you get someone else fobbing you off! We spent 1hour and 50 minutes of being palmed off by no less than 5 different operators.
Honestly folks if you can do without Sky please do so. Use any other provider as they can't possibly be worse than Sky.Their advisers are worse than useless and are well trained to get you off the phone.
