We purchased several fans from Smafan and are very happy with all of them. We had them installed by an electrician, so I can’t speak to the installation, but he didn’t have any issues installing the fans. Our favorite features are the quietness of the fans and all of the settings on the remote. I especially appreciate the “cool” and “warm” light settings, in addition to the dimming feature, as it can really make a difference in the room. Overall, we’re very happy with these fans, but any suggestions would include slightly narrower fan blades (looks a little chunky), and offering a “medium” wood color to match the current “midcentury modern” trend of maple-colored wood instead of the dark brown mahogany-colored fan blades currently offered. I purchased the dark brown, but would have preferred a medium brown. They’re great fans and the remote operation is easy to figure out and very convenient :)
