Very competitive (cheapest quote) and very honest and helpful, non pushy nice call centre agent who was more interested in giving me the best priced policy, and happy to answer any questions I had, not just trying to rip me off.
Company should change its policy of not providing a cash payment alternative, instead of just like for like, if and when an appliance is a write off.
After all it is the client's money that has paid into the policy, so they should have a choice - Domestic & General do this.
Also needs to change the far too long fangled and burocratic proceedure, of having to fill in a claim form and send it back, simply to arrange a call out for an engineer to attend for a repair.
A simple phone call quoting your plan number should suffice; after all that's what you do with Domestic & General
