excellent value for the money. our guide,Mark Ma, was outstanding-calm,knowledgeable, patient and accommodating. he always went the extra mile. hotels were all very good except for the one in Xian. our room was supposed to be non smoking and it reeked of cigarettes. it was also in poor repair. we had to view 4 more rooms before we finally found one that was acceptable. i would suggest looking into another hotel. i thoroughly enjoyed the trip and would not hesitate to recommend Smartours.
