This trip was the most recent of many I've taken over the years, including a Smartours trip to Peru in 2012. The most recent trip was a return to Cusco, Machu Picchu, and Lima and a totally new experience on the La Perla cruise in the Amazon. The return portions were wonderful; I enjoyed new experiences and perceptions and returns to favorite memories. The Amazon portion was what originally drew me to this tour and it was all I'd hoped for and more. Amazing sights, experiences, and adventures. The most wonderful overall memory of this trip was the enthusiasm, knowledge, and general friendliness of all the people who worked to make this trip amazing.
