We have been using SMS Broadcast for some years and are very pleased with its effectiveness. Easy to use, efficient, and it gets results. As a school, it's important for us to be able to communicate instantly with our community. Emails are fine but they may not get read for several days. SMS is definitely the way to get urgent messages to where they need to be.
