I bought two console seats for my 3 lb Chihauhau. He loves them. The seat is high enough that he can see out the windows and he no longer has to stand on my lap. Even with one of the seats being small, as it goes on my Lexus console, he can still lay down and sleep. I would recommend this item, especially for the safety with having a harness.
