the quality of the bed is wonderful Originally I ordered the small for my pup She kept lying on top instead of going in the bed I thought possibly the depth of the opening to go inside was too small Instead I got the large. I read the depth would be the same but hoped since it was larger, she would have more room to go inside She still lies on top. I purchased it because she is a 30 lb mini bull terrier who loves to tunnel under covers and curl up Now, I'm just letting her lie ontop!
