We bought two of these Snoozer Lookout I Dog Car Seats, fondly we call them "boxes," for our pups, they do like them and sit in them very well most of the time; the boxes set high enough for our pups to look out the windows. We feel they are safe, as the seatbelt hooks through the car seat and then our pups' harnesses hook to the seatbelt. The sherpa lining is loose on them, however, and is pretty warm for our fur babies. The seats are also big and bulky, the interior of our SUV is limited on space so we completely lose the second row seating. We will use these boxes, though, because we feel our pups are protected in case of an accident.
