We actually tried another model first but didn't feel that the readings were accurate. I then read the reviews on Sonohealth, which were very good and decided I would give it a try. The readings were in line with a manual blood pressure cup which I was using on my wife, who was unable to use on herself when I wasn't home. I think with the Sonohealth's accuracy I could trust my wife's health to it.
