Terrible. Last time they omitted a vital part of my prescription. I went to another branch and it took 3 months to discover that an A B or C corridor had been left out. This time I went back to the original,
local branch and arrived to find that they had no record of the appointment I had made. They don’t answer the phone until well past opening time, the automated answer is all you get and then if you opt to speak to a staff member, you are cut off.
Epsom branch is in dire need of some proper supervision. Some genuine enthusiasm and dedication would go a long way to improve customer service. Unfortunately, no one seems very interested in the customers, there is a distinct air of apathy. Specsavers use the term ‘team’. There doesn’t appear to be any sense of teamwork whatsoever. I worked for the NHS until 2 years ago and know what genuine teamwork and patient care looks and feels like. It’s sadly lacking in Epsom Specsavers.
