I was seen promptly on my arrival in the store in Hereford and my initial pressure test was performed professionally , however the ophthalmologist who conducted my sight test was very flippant and asked inappropriate questions and joked over inappropriate subjects and also discussed his personal health issues . This was in no sense a professional eye examination . I realise that this was an attempt to make conversation but this needs to be toned down so that it isn’t personal and patronizing . The person who then dealt with my varifocal adjustments and measurements was a pleasure to interact with, very kind , caring and adhered to professional barriers .
