Went into Specsavers yesterday because I had lost my glasses . I told the young lady I needed to get some replacements as cheaply as possible . We spoke about what I needed them for .. mainly watching TV and driving and that I was wondering if plain distance glasses would be OK as I had some reading glasses . She didn`t comment much on this but measured me up for varifocals as this is what I had before losing them . I chose the cheapest frames at £25. She quoted a price of £148 ! She didn`t tell me the price of distance glasses {£25} or explain that varifocals are so much more , I assume she imagined that I would know ? I did decide on the distance glasses of course but I feel it is very poor to not give the customer all the facts . It was very embarrassing .
