Specsavers cancelled my appointment 10 minutes before the appointment due to the optician being unavailable. Went to Boots instead and was subsequently diagnosed with a thinning retina and given an urgent referral to the eye hospital. I was told this is very old and should have been picked up on the last couple of eye tests but most definitely my last eye test. Specsavers are disgusting, all they care about is selling glasses. I was always a Specsavers customer and used to have a regular 2 year eye exam but not anymore. I could potentially have major life altering issues with my eyes at the age of 34 thanks to them.
