After purchasing some Running Shoes online and using the Size Guide, the shoes arrived next day as paid for with DPD Next day but unfortunately, the shoes were way too small. The size guide needs looking at. I then go on to the site again to get what I think is the correct size and in doing so, the size selector reset to the smallest default size even though I had clicked my size. I noticed the size was wrong as I clicked 'Buy' so I immediately informed Customer Services via the contact form asking if they could please change the size to my size or cancel the order. They replied quickly saying NO and it was too late. By this time I had not even had the "Order Received" email. I had once again paid for Next Day Delivery. The customer Service agent claimed that cancellations could not happen due to fast dispatch, yet on this occasion my order hadn't even been processed AND still took 2 days to arrive, even though I had paid for next day. Because of the lack of ability to Cancel or Change an order online immediately after purchase I am now £25 out of pocket in Next Day Delivery Charges and postage costs to return the wrong sized shoes. The online ordering System is massively flawed (compared to the flexibility of other online shops) and so for this reason, and the total lack of empathy from Customer Services, I have now purchased the shoes from elsewhere in the correct size. I will not be using Sports Direct's online shop again and I will be sharing my experiences with friends and family advising them to use a more flexible online shop in the future! Totally disappointed!
