“Thurmaston store. My son’s expensive football boots literally fell apart after less than 4 months (predator with soles that have come away). So started the dreaded walk into the Thurmaston store to ask for help. I met with the store manager (Amy) - who put her stall out immediately as to why she would not help! 1) speak to adidas directly 2) i think they have been used too much 3) receipt only / no back statement 4) need to be purchased from this store .. No doubt these fobs off a good chunk of people and she was not interested in consumer rights obligations. After an uncomfortable exchange i passed to one of her team who did finally exchange them (as if they were doing me a favour). Shameful from the manager and an embarrassment. Sports direct - train your staff !”

“Absolutely disgusting company deal with them at your peril.I ordered one item from them for £189.98 they then duplicated the order twice more.i asked them to cancel the two duplicate orders.Customer service lied to me they cancelled genuine order and one duplicate.The genuine order was a birthday gift and they cancelled it 30 minutes from my house.Ten days later the three orders are still on my account.The third order was delivered and i rejected it and videoed it a good job they asked me to prove i had sent it back.11 phone calls and 50 messages later still in a mess.No customer service,Not interested in customers and you can not ring them and some messages were answered three days later.Still want to buy from them ?????”

“A massive company like sports direct have taken my money TWICE and sent me incorrect items, one of the orders they had the cheek to send me an item of lesser value. I only made a second order to rectify their mistake as their resolution was insufficient and they have managed to get that wrong too. Their customer services are ignoring me. I have 2 items I didn't ask for and they have my £140. Unethical. Disgusting service. Personally I would avoid this company completely as they cannot get the basics right and they do not care about their customers.”

“Worst online shopping experience. I ordered many things that went over £200, but I still had to pay for delivery. Once the order was placed, I noticed that one of the items had been placed twice, so I tried to cancel, which I couldn't. Once the items arrived, I spoke to customer service about it, and they said to return the item at my own expense. I don't understand, are they broke or what?”
