I ordered a blue golf bag(£110) among other things to come next day as I had a golf game booked in the evening. They sent a black one. I emailed and contacted on Facebook via their page immediately. But stated I needed to use it or cancel my game. No response for a week. Then asked for pictures. Which I sent. Offered a refund/exchange after another 4days and was told they’d send a courier. In good faith I repeated that as I had used the bag and I know it can’t be resold, I would keep the black one even though it’s not what I want because in my eyes it’s wasteful if not able to resell. But I would be happy with a gift voucher to cover the mistake and suggested the value to be the price of the courier each way as they would have to pay in an exchange....probably about £10-£15. I think that is really reasonable and would have cost sportsdirect the least amount of money for a mistake made by them. Then I receive an email saying as I have used the item there is nothing they can do. They cannot offer gift voucher. Cannot refund/exchange. Appalling service. No phone line for contact to immediately resolve matter. No answer to emails for many days. No customer service
