A serious customer experience update is needed!
I purchased a pair of rugby boots and paid for next day delivery as I needed them for a training session at the end of the week. They arrived a day late in a broken box with no lining or protection inside. I tried them on and they did not fit despite ordering a size up as recommended. I needed the boots that evening so I went to sports direct store and bought a new pair of different boots in the correct size, thinking I could bring the other ones back the following day. When I went to return the incorrect boots I was told that they could not offer in store refunds and I would have to pay for new packaging and return postage costs or they could offer me a credit note. The problem was I had already purchased a second pair of boots to compare the sizes and I could not put the credit against a purchase I had already made so now I have 2 pairs of boots, 1 that I don't want and I have made 3 trips to the store after paying for next day delivery. Not a great customer experience at all...
