Same item accidentally ordered twice due to the Sport Direct Website crashing at the payment verification stage. Tried to get customer services online but never even got past the ‘Captcha - I’m not a Robot’ function as it wasn’t working properly. Instead tried the Live Chat had to run through a series of questions none of them related to my issue, answered every single question hoping I would eventually explain the issue directly, just the same questions all over again. My only option left was social media which I no longer use so bad to reinstate an old FB account much to my annoyance. Sent a direct message it couldn’t get operative to understand that because their website crashed I should not be held liable to pay the additional postage, I had to repeat myself several times but was still asked to clarify points I had already made. I gave up I’m not £12 out of pocket due to postage fees, well actually I’m £46 out of pocket as the refund for the retuned trainers hasn’t been received yet.
