Sports direct refusing to refund for item which was never delivered!
A garmin watch was ordered on 8th january and payment taken from my account on 9th January. The order was due to be sent to the local.sports direct shop in portlaoise. I contacted sports direct on 18th January to query delivery date. They replied on 19th to advise item was with the courier and if not received by 30th to get back in touch. The item did not arrive.
Sports direct have since advised that the order is showing as return to sender, they don't know why it is being returned, possibly it could be damaged in transit but until it is received back to their warehouse they will not process my refund. This is unacceptable, i have not received my item. I have queried if the courier does not return my item do I not get back my money - I await that response! Customer service is appalling!
