disgusting, they have harassed me for a year over a disgustingly high estimated bill. not once did they ask me for a meter reading. i assumed they at least had to take one once a year. from March 2020 to January 2021 they had estimated a bill (for a 2 bed flat) worth over 2 grand!! bearing in mind, we had never missed a payment. This is all during a global pandemic! they have debt collectors involved, a credit default. We left SSE in janurary and we went with a different company that uses a smart meter, our bill from January 2021 to September 2021, for the new supplier, is only £78 . How could SSE explain that an estimated bill be so high? how was I not notified of this £2000 bill until September 2020? why was I never helped during the multiple phone calls to SSE? A 2 bed flat should NOT be getting billed £2000. SSE gave no consideration to that fact, and contained to harass. This company just wants your money, it is an evil Institute that should be taken down.
