Please PLEASE do not go with SSE, it is not worth it. They lie and lie and do anything to get you off the phone. It is against my tenancy agreement to be to on a pay as you go meter. I fell slightly behind on my bill then got it back down to £0 I was switched in June, it is now nearly November and every time I call there is a lie and reason as to why I can't be switched back. Even when I explain I could be kicked out of my flat and I don't have access to the meter so can't see how much is on it. I am sometimes without electricity because I can't reset it wouthout building management. They have made countless appointments and not shown up. They are terrible.
