I needed a cost-effective sit-stand desk in a 3x5-foot corner space at home. I already has an IKEA 2x3-foot table, and I needed a short-legged, adjustable table almost as equal in table-top size. It had to be sturdy enough to support two 24-inch monitors, a 15-inch laptop with charging station, and a keyboard. In addition, I needed available space for an arm-rest mount, a mouse and mouse pad, a 6x9-inch steno pad, cellphone, and drink coaster. The space between the table-tops provided me with space for books and a few office supplies, as well as a place to fold and rest my legs (I'm 5'2") when sitting on my height-adjustable drafting chair. You can buy a desk converter, dual-arm monitor mount, adjustable chair, floor mat for the chair, and anti-fatigue mat for your feet, but finding the right fit for everything can get really expensive. I'm very happy with my purchase!
