At first I really liked the cooker, most dishes came out good, but all of a sudden there was an odor in my kitchen, so trying to figure out where it was coming from I proceeded to clean everything in the kitchen going as far as taking my stove apart and giving it a good clenaing , I also pulled out the stove and washed behind it as well as the wall, the smell was still there, finally after a couple of days I figured it out it was coming from the rubber gasket on the power pressure cooker, which I was very supprised because I took it apart and washed it after every use. I did research and found a lot of bad reviews on this product all saying that the gasket seemd to hold the smells, I tried a few different things like baking soda, lemon juice and even denture cleaner, it is better but still there, I am hesitant to use it because I think the smell will come back. I then tried to order another gasket and did on line chat and that was very difficult, Twice the chat was ended before I was finished typing. Then I tried to order on lineand that was a nightmare, it seems there was somthing wrong with your system. Finally I got a live person on the phone and was able to order 2 gaskets, she was very polite, but I do feel I should be compensated for my time and aggravation. my number is 773-480-2050.
