I bought into the infomercial and have to buy one. After a month I bought a second one! I did my first attempt to canning fresh corn, mushrooms and tomatoes over the summer. I canned beans, apples even soup. I've made steel cut oatmeal, cheesecake, soups, stews even rice pudding. I use it more than I expected, very pleased with the performance and versatility. I did purchase extra pots and gaskets to use to sweet and savory, the gaskets hold onto the smells, I don't think the any taste would transfer but just did it for my own peace of mind, I purchase the cookbook, looked thru it and stuck it on a shelf. I find better recipes and more useful tips by joining pressure cooking groups on Facebook. Over all I am very satisfied with my Power Pressure XL.
