I was hesitant to hop on the pressure cooker band wagon, but when my husband got me the Power Pressure Cooker XL (10 quart), I soon learned that I do need a pressure cooker in my life... just not this one. I was in love at first, but after using it about 10 times, the computer for the digital display started going haywire. In a nutshell, it would revert to the rice/risotto setting every time. I kept using it, and just adjusting the time manually by cooking through 2 rice/risotto settings, or cancelling early. A couple days ago, the display stopped responding alltogether. When I plug it in, it automatically turns on "keep warm", and none of the buttons do anything. I called customer service, and the solution they offered was for me to send the unit in at my own expense, along with a $25 money order, and they would fix or replace it. I believe that a company with a good product will stand behind their product, and if your customer service and warrantee falls short, it's probably not worth replacing. I'll be buying and Insta-pot instead.
