Having obtained an online quotation, which was rather more than I wanted to pay, I phoned to discuss how to apply a promotional code which came my way. The agent was extremely patient; the call took over 30 minutes, as he had to repeat all the questions and answers (medical mainly) which I had already submitted online, but this enabled me to clarify one point. At the end, he gave me a quotation which I still felt was more than I wanted to pay. He discussed options, and we agreed a price which I was happy with, and which still covered my main requirements. I appreciate that online is quicker and cheaper, but really you can't beat a proper discussion with someone who knows his way around the business.
