In May 2023, Stormclad installed a new front door for my home. The installation was fine, but by January 2024 the lock had already failed. I promptly contacted them, and they initially said they were waiting for parts to repair/replace the lock. However, after providing that response 10 weeks ago, Stormclad has gone completely dark. Numerous follow-up phone calls and emails going unanswered. As paying customers, we deserve better responsiveness and resolution when an expensive, critical product like an entry door lock fails within 8 months. While I've had okay experiences with Stormclad in the past for other installations, their lack of any communication or service for this lock issue has been unacceptable. I'm escalating through other channels, but strongly caution others to be wary about using Stormclad. If this is how they handle product defects, it's a red flag about their commitment to customer service. As of now, I have a new door with a broken lock and no resolution in sight after 2.5 months. Not the quality experience you'd expect after choosing Stormclad as your door installer.
