Stormclad started our conservatory in Sep 2022 s as x they have wiped their hands off us. We are left with a construction that is not fit for purpose… they ruined our wooden floor in the process, pains have misted over and most importantly there are 7 significant leaks - what a sham of a company and hardly surprising they have liquidated… please NEVER use them when they reform - utter cowboys and we have been advised to knock it down and start again…tens of thousands down the drain - if anyone knows how we can move forward. It would be greatly appreciated

Had a conservatory built 2022, the glass in the conservatory is covered for 5 years and one of the sliding doors has misted inside, just gone to ring them and have seen they have gone into administration, so typical😡😡 now what do we do? Who guarantees the work? Anyone know the answer?

In May 2023, Stormclad installed a new front door for my home. The installation was fine, but by January 2024 the lock had already failed. I promptly contacted them, and they initially said they were waiting for parts to repair/replace the lock. However, after providing that response 10 weeks ago, Stormclad has gone completely dark. Numerous follow-up phone calls and emails going unanswered. As paying customers, we deserve better responsiveness and resolution when an expensive, critical product like an entry door lock fails within 8 months. While I've had okay experiences with Stormclad in the past for other installations, their lack of any communication or service for this lock issue has been unacceptable. I'm escalating through other channels, but strongly caution others to be wary about using Stormclad. If this is how they handle product defects, it's a red flag about their commitment to customer service. As of now, I have a new door with a broken lock and no resolution in sight after 2.5 months. Not the quality experience you'd expect after choosing Stormclad as your door installer.

Customer service is non existent, fitters did not show up as planned with an excuse that the windows had been rejected by quality control which turned out to be a lie. The next fitting went ahead but the hinges were faulty and still are, the bay window had been measured wrong and was sent back. No further contact was heard from stormclad. 23/02/24 JUST FOUND OUT STORMCLAD HAS GONE INTO ADMINISTRATION.

Just about to fill out a small claims form and take this company to court, i cant even tell you how many emails, calls , repairs ,etc ...over several years have been made...they seem to be specialists in fobbing customers off,...this of course after you have paid in full, if any problems do occur on the work they have carried out you then learn stormclad "use outside fitting gangs"!, AND THEY THEN ASK THE ORIGINAL WORKMAN TO COME BACK TO SORT THE PROBLEM ...WHICH OF COURSE AN ESSENTIALLY SELF EMPLOYED FITTER WHO MAY HAVE MOVED ON IS UNLIKELY TO DO!.....HORRENDOUS ATTENTION TO DETAIL, SHODDY FITTING, AND JUST OUTRIGHT INDIFFERENCE TO A CUSTOMER ...AGAIN ONCE YOU HAVE PAID ANYWAY BACK TO THE CLAIM FORM , SEVERAL YEARS OF CONSTANT FOBBING OFF IS ENOUGH IF ANY POTENTIAL CUSTOMER WANTS TO SEE THE PHOTOS FROM DAY ONE OF OUR "BUILD " AND SUBSEQUENT CONVERSATIONS THEN PLEASE JUST ASK. I CANT COMMENT ON OTHER BUILDS STORMCLAD HAVE DONE AND IM SURE MANY PEOPLE ARE HAPPY, THIS IS JUST MY EXPERIENCE OF DEALING WITH THEM... AND ITS JUST STARTED TO RAIN SO OF COURSE OUR CONSERVATORY IS GOING TO BE FULL OF PUDDLES NEVER MIND THE UNDERFLOOR HEATING THAT HASNT WORKED FROM THE FIRST DAY.

If your travelling to Notcutts garden centre at Nottingham do not bother going to the conservatory showroom. There are 4 conservatories with an office with a note on that says gone to lunch back in 30 mins (time was 4pm ??) Closed at 5pm. Everything looked neglected. Waste of an afternoon. No leaflets to look at, no guide prices - the only effort made was someone had opened the doors. This could have been so much better.

Before you read this review please let me summarise, based on my personal experience I think Stormclad are the worst and most incompetent company I have ever dealt with and I recommend you look elsewhere. My disastrous transaction is now 1 year long and my expensive premium Origin windows still have problems that Stormclad are incapable of fixing. Trying to summarise the main points. Initially the salesman 'sold' the company and service with lots of assurances, we initially felt very confident and proceeded to place an order. However, it is clear that the salesman just told complete lies in order to clinch a sale!!! We were quoted 12 weeks for installation but this turned into 24 week before the first appalling attempt at installation. When the fitters finished we were left with every window and door being incomplete and missing parts including handles and glazing gasket, also 2 cills were badly scratched by the fitters during installation. But the worst part was the fact that the door was completely the wrong size and the fitters simply forced it into place, jammed it shut and told us not to use it. They also did not have any glass for the door so fitted tatty solid panels leaving the room dark and dingy. We were left in this situation for another 11 weeks. Gradually with many return visits some of the problems were fixed, and the replacement door was ready but again we were told it would be 4 weeks but in fact it took 11 weeks, and again they failed to have the glass for the door. This whole process has been a complete disaster requiring me to take 8 days off work to be available for the numerous visits. The staff turnover at Stormclad is ridiculous, it seems you speak to a different person every time and Stormclad loose all continuity, they also fail to reply to email listing the outstanding faults, they just dont care. The icing on the cake is the fact that Stormclad demand the outstanding balance despite the fact that there are still outstanding problems to be resolved which they seem incapable of resolving. This is the only time that they contact me. They then threaten legal action if payment isnt completed !!!. Perhaps they should focus more on resolving problems and keeping customers happy rather than demanding payment. So 1 year later I still have window that catches as it closes due to not being fitted correctly, a handle that is loose and wobbly, scratches to the windows due to fitters using metal tools to remove glazing bars, and a few other minor issues. Luckily I have had another much more competent window company install other windows in my house and they looked at the problem of the catching window and instantly identified the cause. So in summary if you want expensive Origin windows there are competent installers out there but please avoid Stormclad or should that be Stormcra*

We've just had new windows fitted. All appointments were on time and curtious. Mick the Stormclad fitter, who had previously built our conservatory and last year installed our daughters windows did a fantastic job, all completed and fully tidy in 2 days in freezing conditions. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend to anyone.

We had a verandah fitted earlier this year .All appointments were on time . We had a slight problem due to massive rainfall which was rectified immediately . We Have just had a new front door fitted .we were kept informed during the ordering process of date to fir The fitting was really efficient and the end product great . Everyone we dealt with was helpful but not pushy .

We had our windows and doors fitted last year and we are very pleased with the whole process. There was no hard sell from the salesman and everything went smoothly. We have had them back to adjust the doors but this was sorted very quickly. Would definitley recommend them

All round excellence. Cannot praise highly enough the service from Stormclad. Thank you especially to the Fitters, Ben and Kian, for your amazing professionalism and going the extra mile to ensure a perfect finished job, particularly for my front door, as you went out of your way to accommodate my wishes. Thank you for the care and respect shown to my home while you were here. Stormclad have renewed my faith that there are companies out there who put the customer first. Ben and Kian - amazing team!!
