Never again. A long-standing customer, Stuart’s London treated me with contempt over an error on their website in which prices were shown ex-VAT with no indication that this was the case. I requested a free return on the very expensive boots I had bought, on the basis that they were over £60 more than advertised. Stuart’s refused to accept responsibility and told me my iPhone was at fault; however the website error was repeatable on two devices. I kept the boots since a fully insured return would have been prohibitively expensive, but I will not buy from them again. This has left me feeling aggrieved, and with a very bad taste in my mouth. Short-sighted, unprofessional and revealing a complete absence of class in customer relations.
