Thank you for responding to my order so quickly - as usual they are good quality products and I am looking forward to giving them as gifts for Christmas. The reason you haven't had a "very good" review is given below:
I would like to tell you about the experience with the courier, DPD (although your delivery note mentioned the carrier as Royal Mail(?). I arranged for the package to be collected at their Bristol depot on Monday 10th November between 1800 and 1900. I turned up during this time and the package was not there. The staff at the depot couldn't have been more helpful and were genuinely concerned that my parcel wasn't there. One of the guys arranged for the day shift to call me the next day, but by the middle of the afternoon I hadn't received a call, so rang their customer services who rather reluctantly said they would get someone from Bristol to call me.
I didn't get a call but in the meantime I got another email to say that the package was ready for collection on Wednesday 12th. Just to make sure I called beforehand and confirmed the package was there, and collected it with no problem. Later that day I received a call from the Bristol depot ... better late than never?
I would like to suggest that although the staff on the collection desk at the Bristol depot are very good, the rest of the operation at DPD leaves a little to be desired.
