Dary Lane
I Purchased five Sturhling watches. Two have to be returned. One had a faulty movement, I fully understand this, as I worked in the watch industry before retiring and I understand that even in the best movements there is always some failure rate. But the second watch I returned had bubbles on the case. How can this be if it’s made of stainless steel? It must be cheap alloy plated with chrome or something. I read the descriptions again. They say that the case back is made of stainless steel and so is the bracelet. They do not mention the actual case - rather slippery I think. If you’re not making your cases of stainless steel you really do need to or make it clear that they all chrome plated alloy or whatever. To be fair you did agree to repair the watch and after I complained about the shipping costs on two returns you did agree to pay return shipping so I have to say your service is good. I hope my other watches will be OK and not have a similar bubbling problem on the case. From a design perspective I think you watches are superb and the quartz movements that you put in them are very good quality companies like my Miyota and Ronda. No complaints there. Also, my name is Gary Lane not Dary Lane – I think I’ve given this feedback to your company three times now
