I was amazed that you could send plants in the middle of a NY winter and have them alive and healthy, but you did! I gave them a little drink when I unwrapped them and they were all perky and beautiful. I did have the heat pack in there. Very happy with my purchase and I intend to order more for myself as I gave those away for Christmas presents. Very happy with the purchase!!
