“I ordered three cactus.. Only one had its roots covered with dirt. One was completely free of dirt just banging around the box which was crushed upon arrival. The other cactus was in two pieces floating in the box. One piece was dead. I planted them and I dont know if any will survive. This is the last time I order anything from succulents Depot. A waste of money.”

“Plant arrived quickly (2 days), wrapped in brown paper in a box with no pot and about a tablespoon of soil around the roots. One out of seven of the leaves was a little wilted and yellowish, but once placed in potting soil, it has perked up. We are in a coastal zone with summer fog and cool temperatures (72 high, 58 low) and it seems to be happy now.”

“The succulents arrived in a package I didn't recognize as containing a live plant. When I opened it, I found many healthy stalks of Christmas cactus. I replanted the Christmas cactus in fresh soil, and now, a week later, it is doing very well. I am very pleased with my order. Thank you, Deborah Thurber.”

“Extremely disappointed with how my case was handled. I received plants with an active spider mite infestation, and despite repeatedly explaining the severity of the situation, I do not feel my concerns were taken seriously at all. The plants deteriorated so badly that I ultimately had to throw away the entire order—most were dying anyway, and the rest looked so terrible they were not worth trying to save. On top of losing the plants I paid for, I had to deal with the stress, treatment, and risk of introducing spider mites to the rest of my collection. What has made the experience especially upsetting is the customer service response. After everything I documented and explained, I am still only being offered a partial refund. I genuinely cannot understand why I should be expected to absorb part of the cost of an order I had to dispose of because it arrived infested. I am extremely angry and disappointed with how this was handled. I expected a company selling live plants to take a serious pest infestation—and the impact it can have on a customer’s existing collection—far more seriously than this.”
