Where do I even start! I'm a keyworker with a young child. I have to work during this crisis, whilst also being a full time mother, it has been beyond difficult. I ordered bare essentials like nappies, rice, pasta, pasta source, toothpaste etc to keep me going while I have to work as all my local supermarkets were bare due to people panic buying. My total order was 90 pounds! I didnt want to buy from them due to how expensive they were but I was disperate. I made this order on the 18th March, it never arrived, I sent numerous and numerous email explaining my situation just wanting to know whether i had to buy elsewhere or it was still coming. Nothing!! They just sent generic auto reply emails leaving me in the dark. I therefore had no choice to to spend more money on buying the items I needed elsewhere, more money I had to spend. Then 3 week later I received 1 item!! One pasta source jar. I sent again various emails asking if this was the only item or they intend to send me the rest of my order explaining I am a keyworker, I have a child, the fact I've had to spend more money to get the essentials they failed fo delivery etc but nothing, nothing! Again leaving me in the dark. Then on the 9th April I get a text stating that they have refunded me 86 pounds but no refund money in my account. Again I emailed and nothing. I also explained with them refunding me only £86 ( which I still haven't recieved!) I ended up paying 4 pounds for a small jar of pasta source, they shouldn't have sent that to me, and just refunded me the full amount as I got ripped off. I am still emailing them saying I still haven't been refunded ANY amount of money and still nothing!! No reply. £90 down the drain. Alot of money. This experience has caused me alot of stress worry and massive inconvenience! They say they are for keyworkers but clearly not as reflected in this situation. It seems like they got greedy for money and took advantage of people in this crisis. They shouldn't have taken people's money and given them the notion of delivering if they couldn't. And then not refund them and leaving people in the dark, no communication, no apology. Terrible.
