They have been selling short jeans at $50. I just bought a pair made in China. I did not need to shorten it; I am only 153 cm tall. Also after washing it twice in the washing machine, handwash cycles, first wash before wearing, the jeans came out a beautiful deep navy blue.
As well Suzanne Gray has a variety of cotton skivies, good winter colors, for those who like to wear something soft underneath dry-itchy woolens.
