I've had a troubled history with florists. I like to accompany my orders with little bits of romantic doggerel, and the bigger franchises have almost always messed it up-- printing poems without line breaks, printing incomplete fragments, once delivering a bouquet accompanied not by the poem itself, but by the instructions I sent to try and prevent them from messing up the poem! (Looking at you, Tidy's.) It was enough to make me seriously consider just ripping a bunch of flowers out of the neighbor's garden and doing the whole thing myself.
Sweatpea's not only got the poem right, they *hand-wrote* the damn thing in careful, meticulous script. They even let me edit a line or two after I'd sent in my order. Not to mention the arrangement itself was gorgeous.
These guys are getting all my future flower-related business. At this point, the only reason I'd go anywhere else would be if some disgruntled competitor burned Sweatpea's to the ground in a fit of pique.
