I went hiking at a trail called "The Narrows" at Zion National Park in Utah, where your feet are constantly submerged in water. I had tennis shoes on and the soles of my shoes completely ripped free, exposing both of my feet. I had to literally hike through jagged rocks 4 hours back from where I turned around and my Swiftwick socks STILL held up and did not tear. Literally THE BEST pair of socks I have ever owned. I bought 5 more pairs after my trip.
