Just the right amount of cushion. I don’t like a lot of cushion in my socks so when I read they were rated as medium I was skeptical. The Swiftwick staff said they were lighter than most medium ratings so I tried a pair. They were correct and I have since bought two more pairs. The Flite xt trail uses merino wool in its construction which I really like.
