I was used to wearing medical compression socks as an ER nurse for many years. At 75 most of the fat on the bottom of my feet disappeared and I retired to take up hiking. Teds had to be worn with cushioned socks on top which resulted in comfortable wet feet. Then I discovered Swiftwick. These socks give great support, dry feet, cushioning only where needed, and have also solved all my gift problems for friends and grandchildren.
