Trying to improve on a renewal quote. Letter from Swinton happened to arrive quoting car insurance from £160. Well obviously a joke but thought I would get an online quote anyway. My renewal price was £390.00 for a Ford Fiesta with Spouse as additional driver. He has a SP30 conviction ( 37mph in 30 limit ) from nearly 3 years ago. Other than that both have lifetime clean licences and never made any claims in over 35 years.
Swinton basic quote ................ £920.00. Certainly having a laugh
