I make it a rule to visit Switcher.ie whenever my energy supplier contract is coming up for renewal. Put a reminder on your phone or calendar to check for the best prices about a week before your contract becomes due for renewal. If you leave it to your supplier to renew you they will automatically return you to standard charges which will be considerably higher than any "Special Offers" that Switcher.ie is highlighting.
