I love my prescription Maui Jims, but after five years my eyes had moved on. The eyeglass store that originally sold the glasses to me quoted $960 for new lenses from Maui Jim. I mean they are great progressive lenses, polarized, and all the bells and whistles, but $960? Next, I took my glasses to a sports glasses specialty house in a lower-rent district. They took my glasses and sent them off to Maui Jim with an estimated price of $650. After two weeks the frames were returned because Maui Jim said they were too old for new lenses. Then I found Tajima Direct. For $407 I got the same or better quality lenses for my frames. I'm back seeing the world in hi-def again!
