I recently purchase a Takoon Tiki California. I could not be happier with this board. I purchased it so that I could continue kiting during the light-wind season from May-Oct. Despite never having ridden a strapless board or a surfboard, for that matter, I was up and moving on my first try. In only 12kts of wind, she practically flew through the water. The ride was smooth and fast. The board is very responsive. My Tiki was truly a joy to ride.
