WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!
My recent experience with Talabat has been extremely disappointing.
After a delayed order (over 1.5 hours for an order placed at 9 PM), I contacted support and requested escalation. Around half an hour later, I received a call from the “complaints department,” but it felt very scripted — the responses were repeated and no resolution was offered. I was told that “management” would call me.
At 2 AM, my phone started ringing continuously until I picked up. The calls were presented as “management,” but the interaction felt no different from the earlier call center. What was most concerning was the timing — being contacted in the middle of the night, repeatedly, without any consideration for customer convenience. When I raised that this was highly inappropriate, the conversation simply continued as if nothing had been said.
As of the next day, there has been no resolution or meaningful follow-up. This raises real concerns about customer service standards and whether proper policies are in place to handle escalations.
I share this feedback so that people are aware of what they may experience with Talabat, as the company has not taken responsibility for resolving such inappropriate practices.
