I am very disappointed with my experience. I placed my order at 18:47 and waited until 8:00 PM because I needed to leave my office. When I called the driver to follow up, he told me to cancel the order because he could not find or pick up the location. This is extremely frustrating and unacceptable, especially after such a long wait. This is not the first time this has happened. The repeated delays and cancellations show very poor service. PLEASE STOP USING TALABAT AS SOON AS POSSIBLE AS IT WAS TILL 6 MONTHS BEFORE AS SINCE LAST 6 MONTHS EVERY 3rd-4th ORDER IS GETTING DELAYED BY 1.5-2 HRS AND EVEN THEY DON’T INFORM U ALSO. U WILL KEEP WAITING AND WAITING AND AFTER THAT IF U WILL CALL ON THEIR CUSTOMER CARE THEN THEY WILL SAY THAT - PLEASE GO TO WEBSITE AND REPORT THEIR. I FEEL THAT EITHER THEIR MANAGEMENT HAS CHANGED OR THEY HAVE STOPPED OR DELAYED GIVING THIER RIDERS THEIR SALARY/COMMISSION ETC. THAT’S WHY THESE DAYS RIDERS LEAST INTRESTED IN GETTING ORDER DELIVERED. PLEASE START USING CAREEM OR ANY OTHER TO AVOID ANY HARASSMENT RATED TO ORDER AND DELIVERY

If i can give lower than 1 star I will. The customer service of talabat has very poor service, unfair and dismissive. I have bought a food item (honey oman sidr) with the amount of 166 dirhams and I raised a ticket and concern that the item I received WAS NOT SEALED. It is very concerning as it was NOT SAFE to the consumer. The manager of the TALABAT in the complaint department his name is Mr. TASAWAR HUSSAIN, told me that per their policy in general, they cannot process a full refund on my item and only a compensation 15 dirhams can be done as resolution to my concern. IT IS VERY DISAPPOINTING AND VERY UNFAIR to the consumer who paid 166 dirhams. They don’t have any concern on the safety of the consumers and the request of my refund which is my right as a consumer who received a food item that was NOT SEALED. All of this was recorded in the call with him. And I have submitted a clear photo of the raw honey on the same day I received it showing that it was NOT SEALED. I hope this case will be investigated and the rights of the consumer is protected. In this case, my right was unfairly dismissed by TALABAT customer agent. I would like this not be treated to any other customer as it was a horrible experienced. Seriously.

300 AED Food order arrived 1 hour late! Food arrived cold Reason: They didn’t have a driver to deliver the food. They give me 15 AED compensation which I didn’t ask for and because they give me the compensation after calling their customer service they were unable to give me a refund because the 15 AED had already been credited to my account. Requested a manager to call me back and I got the same excuse refund not possible enjoy the cold food!

Worst delivery service. We ordered family dinner around 9 pm. We kept calling and messaging and each time was told it’s on the way. past midnight it got canceled and by then most restaurants had closed.

I had the worst experience ever with Talabat staff and the manager. It’s no surprise they are losing customers. I stayed with Talabat even though it’s more expensive than other competitors because of the quality of service and the delivery process. After this experience, I am deleting my Talabat app.

Worst delivery app in the UAE. Cancels the order twice after 45 minutes of accepting the order. Restaurant is helpless and food is wasted as Talabat cancels the order.

Talabat points are useless, Redeeming seems to be useless with minimum order requirements and very limited restaurants. 50% off is tricky since food prices are almost doubled up.

Fruits not fresh. And they require customers to consumed annd the foods and complaint within 24 hours only. The fruit i bought few days ago, spoiled and inedible, waste money and time.

Very disappointing support. I qualified for the ADCB Talabat Credit Card offer, but the AED 750 reward was never added. ADCB confirmed my details, yet Talabat keeps rejecting them. The “live chat” feels like chatbots pretending to be agents, with no real help and empty promises of call-backs. Not acceptable from a major company.

Very disappointing experience with Talabat. They delivered my order melted and broken, and even after promising a refund, they never credited the amount. Their customer service is the worst — not honest at all. They kept asking for multiple bank statements, even though I provided all the proof, yet no refund was ever issued. This is unacceptable and unprofessional. I will definitely stop using Talabat, as there are many other better and more reliable apps out there. Worst service ever — zero honesty and zero accountability.

Most of the time delivery don't have change even if you put payment cash they have to bring charge with them And items come in a very bad situation if eggs it will be broken i ordered cookies for my daughter i received cookies crumbs they didn't refund my money or exchange it and sometimes the vegetables spoiled very bad customer service and no improvement

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! My recent experience with Talabat has been extremely disappointing. After a delayed order (over 1.5 hours for an order placed at 9 PM), I contacted support and requested escalation. Around half an hour later, I received a call from the “complaints department,” but it felt very scripted — the responses were repeated and no resolution was offered. I was told that “management” would call me. At 2 AM, my phone started ringing continuously until I picked up. The calls were presented as “management,” but the interaction felt no different from the earlier call center. What was most concerning was the timing — being contacted in the middle of the night, repeatedly, without any consideration for customer convenience. When I raised that this was highly inappropriate, the conversation simply continued as if nothing had been said. As of the next day, there has been no resolution or meaningful follow-up. This raises real concerns about customer service standards and whether proper policies are in place to handle escalations. I share this feedback so that people are aware of what they may experience with Talabat, as the company has not taken responsibility for resolving such inappropriate practices.
