It’s incredibly frustrating when basic customer service falls short. After contacting customer care 20 times, all they’ve done is apologize and end the chat. They sent groceries with three missing herbs and a damaged coconut water that spilled everywhere. Even the package received was not sealed properly. Unlike Noon and Careem, their service is unreliable and disappointing.

The most terrible delivery service. Didnt bring the order. Took money and never made a refund. Was blaming me by the phone that it was my fault that i didnt collect the order. Customer service is not responding, ignoring and sending template messages. Unacceptable and unrespectful behavier ever! Even 1 star is too much!

My experience with Talabat has been nothing short of a nightmare. Their customer service is practically non-existent, making it nearly impossible to resolve any issues directly. Yesterday, I received a completely incorrect order that was inedible—the food smelled horrible and was far from fit for consumption. Despite paying the full amount and submitting clear photos of the problem, Talabat refused to issue a refund. Their response? A delayed, generic message on the app long after my complaint was submitted. By that time, it was late, and I had already thrown away the spoiled food. Today, they had the audacity to demand the physical invoice from the discarded bag, ignoring the digital receipt attached to the order. This is completely unreasonable and shows their lack of accountability. This is not an isolated incident. Recently, I’ve faced repeated mistakes with deliveries and the quality of food, yet Talabat seems unwilling to take responsibility. Their only solution? Empty apologies with zero action and the same auto generated response to every reply I send. As a long-time customer of both Talabat and Deliveroo, I have now decided to switch exclusively to Deliveroo, where I’ve consistently received excellent service and proper resolutions to any issues. Talabat has lost my trust entirely. If you value your time, money, and peace of mind, avoid them at all costs. Their disregard for customer care is utterly unacceptable, and they clearly prioritize profit over resolving customer grievances. Talabat, do better. Customers deserve respect and accountabilit, not just apologies !!

Very frustrating experience with Talabat. After waiting three hours for my order, my account indicated that it had been delivered, but I never received the items. I tried to call the rider but don’t answering the calls. I contacted customer support to report the incident and they refunded my money to the app, they advised me to reorder. I placed the same order with the same grocery store, but this time, Talabat canceled it without reason and blocked my account. Despite my attempts to resolve the issue, their support team has been unhelpful, stating they cannot unblock my account and advising me to adhere to their policies. I want to emphasize that I have not violated any policies; the issue lies with their failure to deliver my orders.

Fraud company. They will deliver the wrong order and refuse to take it back or refund you. This is by far the worst delivery company I've seen.

Big fraud and cheater company. They take the unwanted money from your card even though you apply Voucher as attached. They never return your money even after accepting there mistake.

I recently encountered a frustrating glitch with the Talabat app, and my experience with their customer support was extremely disappointing. The issue was that my order was duplicated, and a payment was processed without my consent just 10 minutes after the original order was placed. After reporting the problem, there was no follow-up from the support team. I called Talabat at 2:00 AM, and they set an appointment to call me back between 10:00 and 10:30 AM, but they never did. By 3:00 PM, I had to find a workaround just to reach them again. When they finally called, I spent almost an hour on the line with no resolution, speaking with four different agents before being connected to Mohammad, a tele-support manager. While Mohammad was helpful and stayed with me until the issue was resolved. As I was still on the call with Mohammad, a Talabat representative named Mustafa Galal called and resolved the issue in less than a minute. This highlighted the lack of communication between support lines, something that could have made the process much smoother and quicker. Mustafa offered his apologies and a 25 AED voucher, which I refused. Ultimately, I decided to delete my account and the app. I'm sad to do so, as Talabat was my go-to delivery service, but after this incident, I no longer feel confident putting myself in a situation where I might face such poor customer support again.

اسوا application سحبتم من البنك فلوس الاوردر وقلتم ان انتم مسحبتوهاش مع أن نازل في الbank statement انكم سحبتوها يوم ٧ اكتوبر حسبي الله ونعم الوكيل فيكم واحاول اتواصل معاكم تعقدو الخطوات وتبلغوني إن القسم المختص بيقول أنها كاتسحتش بس لو طلعت في ال bank stt هنردها وتدوني خطوات انا مش عارفة اوصل بها للقسم المختص حسبي الله ونعم الوكيل فيكم

It's one of the worst food delivery apps I know. It takes ages to get a refund, and there's no follow-up on cases. If you don't receive your delivery, be ready to face a wall, as Talabat doesn't care. They usually make you think they will investigate, but they don't. Avoid this app like the plague.

Talabat Has Started to Seem Fraudulent! On the 18th of September, I placed a food order through Talabat. To my surprise, I was charged twice. When I contacted customer service, I spoke to Khadeeja, who reassured me that my money was "safe" with them. I responded, telling her I never asked for my money to be "safe" with Talabat by being charged twice on my card. She then assured me that I would receive a refund within 5-7 days. Later, I spoke with Mohd Mubin (manager Fikre), who clarified that it would take 5-7 working days. I patiently waited, but when I followed up on the 25th of September, I spoke to Hina, who once again reassured me that my money was "safe" and urged me to wait just one more day for the refund. I decided to open a ticket through the Talabat app. A manager from the finance team reached out, informing me that the refund timeline would only begin on the 22nd of September, when the issue was supposedly "resolved," meaning the countdown had restarted. Honestly, Talabat, is this your new method of making money? Charging my card twice and then forcing me to chase my own refund? Your service is beyond disappointing, and now you’ve stooped to robbery!

This happen twice when we order online the amount of the different from the actual delivery..instead of 99aed when rider came they ask us to pay 119.. and customer service also didnt answer the customer properly

I used to be a loyal Talabat customer, recommending it to everyone I know. But after my recent experience, I can no longer support this brand. I encountered a major issue with Talabat's 50% off offer (up to 30 AED). I selected items from a participating restaurant, and the discount was applied before I proceeded to pay. However, once I completed the payment, I was charged a different, higher amount. Despite the app showing the correct price before payment, the total changed without any explanation. When I tried to contact Talabat, the app had no direct support options, no live chat, and an auto-reply to my email that provided no help. After reaching out on Facebook Messenger, I explained the issue, only to be met with denials and requests for impossible "checkout pictures" proof. Despite offering app logs and explanations, I was ignored. Then, to make matters worse, the order I received was completely wrong. The receipt taped to the package didn’t match the items I ordered. I provided photos and more details, but again, no real response. Hours later, I received a call acknowledging their mistake and promising to send a request for additional pictures to process a refund. They never followed through. Finally, after all the time I wasted trying to resolve this, they sent me 19 AED as compensation for a bill of over 61 AED. It’s about the principle. Offering such a small refund for a completely wrong order is humiliating to a customer. The least they could have done was fully refund the meal. Instead, they turned a loyal advocate into someone determined to share this awful experience with everyone I know.

They did not read my comments and brought cold spicy food for my kids. I complained through writing because they do not have a phone number to call. The cost was Aed103. They told me they will compensate me with Aed15. Very bad we did not eat the food and the compensation was really silly. They refuse to repay back the money. They keep doing serious mistakes and they should really penalized severely for thier ignorance and confidence that no one can stop them.

The service price is high and there is no action taken to complaints. When there is wrong items in order, it will not be replaced or refunded.

Very bad and unprofessional service!! They deduct money from my account for an order that was not even created and when I followed up with them on X they bold me there was a technical issue hence the deduction and the refund will be in 5-7 days!! Now after 12 days still.no refund and they told me they need another 5-7 days for the refund!!! Other delivery apps like delivero or noon MUCH better and MUCH professional
