As a business partner, working with Talabat has been an incredibly frustrating and one-sided experience. It’s clear that their sole priority is squeezing out as much revenue as possible, even if it means walking all over the partners who actually deliver the service. They listen exclusively to customers, no matter how unreasonable the complaint may be, while completely ignoring the vendors. It’s obvious that their support team is instructed to ignore the partners – every conversation feels like talking to a wall. You raise legitimate concerns or flag issues caused by their own system or delivery staff, and you're still the one penalized. There is zero accountability, no real communication, and certainly no respect. Talabat doesn’t build partnerships – it exploits them. If you're a business thinking of joining the platform, don't. Unless you're ready to be treated like a disposable cog in their money-making machine.

Most 50% offers are fake, original prices are doubled. Hard to reach live customer service some discounts are not really applied, some item price discounts are not active at all

I ordered a contour stick received a highlighter and I wanted to exchange they said I can’t reach to them so I will send a courier to pick it up he came and took it and now for 4 says I didn’t get my money back case is opened on the app and not yet resolved and no one is even replying very miserable experience

Talabat delivered me wrong item from pharmacy, after returning they told me in 30 min I will get refund. But didn’t refund me anything after many calls and many days. They just reply the same statement phrase of apologizing and to wait.

Very poor service. Riders deliver order in 40 minutes even your house is closer. Wrong items bring and never comes back for replacement. Even corporate team calls you to know what is an issue but they don't have capacity to resolve the issue. and closed my complaint unresolved. I want my money back Will never order grocery via talabat . for grocery delivery insta service is better.

Drivers are a safety hazard - I have had several accidents with them because the drivers are unskilled, detracted or on their phones. Customer service is fairly useless.

Talabat is the worst app ever . Driver always press delivered before delivering the order. I had an issue with damaged item I spoke to 6 agents and they just added 15 aed compensation voucher whereas the item was for 200 aed. They don’t relive any issue. Don’t use this app

less than a star.. they never take responsibility Talabat support staff are prisoners to a rigid process. it is well known that Talabat are responsible of any mistake happens (like a totally wrong order) !! yet they fail to comply to this responsibility, and the sad part is that they take customers light!! sad, but true. If you oray for rain you got to deal with the mud, and Talabat is failing to fulfil customers rights. I have been going back and forth for more than 24 hours now with their complaints team which is a total failure.

The recruitment of cheap incompetent labor has lead to failure in providing quality services, this includes riders who ring the bell late at night with no common sense or training that they would be disturbing an entire household for a single order even with delivery instructions. This is a continuous issue, which has lead to deleting the app after 7 years. A major decline and failure in quality of service.

I ordered an avocado omelette, but I received a plain omelette with no avocado. The item I received was completely different from what I ordered. I requested a refund or asked for the missing avocado to be sent, but instead, I received a generic message stating that no refund would be issued and the issue was marked as resolved in the Talabat app. Unfortunately, there is no live chat or proper customer support available to address the problem. I even sent an email to their customer care team, but I never received a response. They’ve removed live chat support, and there's no way to speak with someone directly if you encounter an issue with your order. All you get is an automated bot response. Based on this experience, I won’t be using their service again and I do not recommend it to others.

This is the second time I've received expired products from Talabat in the Saar Area. It's very disappointing and concerning for customer health and safety. Additionally, I've noticed that Talabat places extra markups on some meals — in some cases, as much as 2 BHD more per meal they add compared to the restaurant’s original pricing. I strongly recommend checking and comparing the actual restaurant prices before placing an order. I hope Talabat takes immediate action to resolve these issues and ensures better quality control and pricing transparency moving forward.

Yesterday I ordered kfc in talabat, the said first 4 order delivery free, but they charge me delivery fees,if in case I order directly kfc, they would charge me only 7dh, its kind of cheating.. so bad experience

By far. Talabat is the worst in UAE. It's not the first time i ordered from them and the order got super late. Yesterday i placed an order and it was delayed multiple times and when i called the restaurant i found out that my order was ready for more than 20 minutes but no driver is picking it up. So of course the food was cold and uneatable i received it after 90 minutes. Worst customer service ever

⸻ I had been ignoring many issues with the app, but yesterday was the last straw. I was looking for restaurants and found one that was offering a 50% discount. I placed an order, and the total at checkout showed 32. However, when I paid, a much higher amount was deducted, meaning the restaurant wasn’t actually offering the discount as shown in the app. When I contacted customer service, they admitted that the amount was deducted twice and said they would follow up with me—but they never did. I contacted them again after 24 hours, only to be told that the amount was not deducted twice, even though I have bank messages and screenshots clearly showing the extra charge and the supposed discounted price. I’ve deleted the app and will not be using it again

I don’t usually leave negative reviews and I tried to be understanding, but this is the second time I’ve experienced an issue with Talabat’s flash deals. After waiting a long time, the order ends up being cancelled. The most recent incident was particularly frustrating—I waited for over an hour, the app showed that the rider had picked up my order, and then I received a call from customer support saying it was cancelled. This whole experience makes the flash deals feel like a scam, and I’ve lost trust in the service. I won’t be ordering from Talabat again."

I ordered while i was in my office and followed up on continuous chat and calls. They wasted 3 hours. They ask me to cancel and i told them you wasted my 3 hours and my work time I don’t want to cancel. They themselves cancelled my order. I have chats if anyone needs proof. The customer service guy was very rude and disrespectful. He disconnected the call while i was talking because he wasn’t having any solution. Moreover i would like to add, they told me even if we will deliver i will receive the same order not fresh one. When i told the order was picked up 3 hours before he answered in a rude way I can’t do anything.

An absolute disgrace. Talabat is by far the worst food delivery app I’ve encountered in Dubai. Their practices are deceptive and borderline fraudulent. They openly admit to their mistakes in emails and messages, yet fail to take any meaningful action—especially when it comes to issuing refunds. Despite acknowledging full responsibility in three separate messages, all I receive in return are generic, copy-pasted responses. This isn’t just poor service—it’s deliberate and dishonest treatment of customers. I will never use this app again, and I strongly urge others to stay away. It’s a complete scam.
