The speed of connection is generally just as good as other providers. Where they are letting the customer down is by using 3rd party customer services based abroad who to be honest don't give a damn. They follow scripts and are of no earthly use in any way Average of an hour to get them to answer a simple question. I think they are trying to get you to close the call. The router seems pretty good but not for Wi Fi in older properties, the Wi Fi extenders ( D Link I believe) are useless as even their Technicians cant get them to pair when they attended my home.
Although once you actually manage to speak to someone in the UK they are very helpful and have admitted that they know about the customer service issues and are looking into it. Should Talk Talk get customer services and equipment sorted then I believe they will be a quality provider overall
