I purchased this hot water heater to supply hot water to a cabin sink and an outdoor shower in a semi remote property in Alaska. Our well is 220’ deep and the water is very cold. It is installed in a space that is protected from rain but still outdoors. This heater has worked flawlessly. A bit on the expensive side but we’ll worth the investment. It’s only downside for real remote areas is that it requires 110v power (instead of batteries). I’d recommend it to anyone.
