The first lock we purchased worked fine for a little over two years before it fell on the floor and broke the shackle. (?) We purchased a second Tapplock to replace the first one. It is not the same product. Not even close. We have to charge it daily. It will not recognize prints consistently. The shackle is reversed from the first model, so we had to reconfigure our latch. The customer service rep told me to hit the lock with my hand to make it work. This is a shady company. Buyer beware!
